With changing local laws and land reforms, MEEZAN shifted from plantations to trading and exporting local commodities like coffee, pepper, and Ceylon tea. By the 1970s, tea demand soared in the Middle East, positioning MEEZAN among the top exporters to Saudi Arabia, maintaining top-tier status for over 50 years.

Today, MEEZAN is a leading tea and herb exporter, with the 4th generation mastering the art of tea crafting. Guided by our founders' values of passion, integrity, and responsibility, we build lasting relationships. We are a preferred co-packer for over 70 exporters and the 3rd oldest tea exporter in Sri Lanka.
Our Capacity.
We produce 1.3 billion tea bags and 8 million kilograms of packet and bulk tea annually, utilising modern packing machines from Germany, England, Italy, Argentina, and Switzerland.
